Do you think your horse needs a winter blanket?

Read on for more details on how you can keep your horse happy and warm this season!
A cold nose and tight muscles are no fun for anyone! Make sure your horse is well protected with an appropriate amount of bedding to keep them happy this holiday season. A horse blanket by having one on hand at all times or investing in one now before it becomes too late is a must for every responsible horse owner. A durable blanket will help insulate their bodies against temperatures as low as zero degree without fail (which would otherwise cause muscular contraction).
Horse Blanketing Tips
Don't apply blankets to horses that are dirty or wet.
It's important to use the right blanket for your horse. A turnout blanket will keep them dry and warm in inclement weather, but you should avoid using these when they are inside because it can make them too hot or uncomfortable!
Avoid the horse from sweating in the blanket, this can become just a harmful as not having a blanket on in the first place
